Barnes Extension Plant Restoration Project

Sealed bids will be received by the Executive Director of Erie MetroParks at 3910 Perkins Ave., Huron, Oh. 44839 until 4:00 pm. May 7th, 2012 local time and thereafter publicly opened and read aloud for the following:

Project Name: Barnes Extension Plant Restoration Project

The Bidder’s proposals shall present design plans. Costs to include; permits, labor and materials required for the restoration of approximately 20 acres of land. The work includes: planting Ohio native material, correcting drainage, creating visual screens, repurpose old greenhouse area and provide erosion control to affected areas. Bids will be received for a design-build general contract.

There will be a recommended pre-bid meeting on April 27th,2012 at 1:00 pm. at Erie MetroParks, Frost Center, at address above.

Clean Ohio Grant

Erie MetroParks is applying for a Clean Ohio grant. This grant will assist in establishing two trails at Thomas Williams MetroPark in Vermilion, Ohio. Any comments from the public are encouraged. Please submit them by email to Tara Nagaich.
