August 24: Erie County Ohio —Facility reservations, in-person programming, and indoor facilities, except for restrooms, will remain suspended/closed through December 31. Erie MetroParks asks that restroom use be limited to emergencies only. All Erie MetroParks’ properties remain open to the public. Park guests are asked to observe proper social distancing at all times.

Erie MetroParks staff will continue its work of conserving natural resources while connecting the community with nature through education and exploration. Online-based programming and education will continue to be offered for all ages during this season. Please visit www.eriemetroparks.org/programs for a list of the latest programs. During this period of precautionary social distancing, The Great Outdoors remains open. The park district includes over 3,000 acres and more than 30 miles of trails in every corner of Erie County. Erie MetroParks encourages individuals to explore the parks, get some fresh air, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the natural world.
