Our Citizen Science Month Challenge is over! The challenge, which ran through the entire month of April, has come to its conclusion. There were more observations (869) and more observers (25) than any month since our iNaturalist project was created in July of 2021. The person that submitted the most observations was Jennifer Clark, with an incredible 201 project submissions! Jennifer wins a naturalist bundle, which includes a backpack, a pair of binoculars, and wildlife guides. Three additional prize winners were randomly drawn from all registered participants that submitted at least five observations to the project! Congratulations to Eric Bischoff, Sara Peck, and Valerie Capucini. Thank you to everyone that contributed to the citizen science of Erie MetroParks! You are all incredible! We look forward to carrying out this challenge again next year!
