The Coupling MetroPark

This 26-acre park is located on an undisturbed Huron River flood plain. There are many beautiful trails to enjoy the Virginia Bluebells that cover the river bank in the early spring. The Coupling’s restored facilities may be reserved by the public and include a multi-bed bunk house and a depot with a meeting room and kitchen. Canoeing and Kayaking are also available here.

**Due to eroding bank conditions, the public water launch at The Coupling MetroPark will be closed until further notice.**

We are currently in the process of updating the water launch at The Coupling MetroPark. Below are the conceptual plans of what is to come. The launch should reopen to the public in the spring of 2027.
